Lloydie’s, a Montreal-based Caribbean food manufacturer, has been serving affordable and delicious West Indian cuisine in Quebec since the early 90s, introducing the Jamaican patty and Caribbean flavors to the region. In 2017, when it came time to open their first storefront and expand access to their food, they sought our services to design and build out the space.

Drawing inspiration from Lloydie’s 20+ years of heritage, the concept aimed to transport customers to an environment reminiscent of a Bajan grandmother’s home. We achieved this nostalgic feel with wood paneling, brown leather, cane webbing, and custom Formica tabletops, incorporating the brand’s graphic elements to give the space a unique, welcoming touch.
